  • Admissions at BIT Bangalore (UG & PG)

UG Courses - Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.)



  • Admission through CET (For the Students who are domiciled in Karnataka)


Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) of GoK conducts Common Entrance Test (CET) for Admission into BE and other UG courses. The  Online Application window generally starts in February of every year, online examination will be held in the month of April, results will be declared in May, Allotment of seats online starts in the month of Jun, and Classes start from August. 45% of the seats of the total intake and 5% supernumerary quota seats are allotted through CET.

  • Admission through COMED-K:


(For the students of Karnataka & Non-Karnataka Students)

Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK) conducts the admission test generally in May. 30% of the seats of the total intake is allotted through the COMED-K test.

  • Admission through MANAGEMENT:


(For the students of India & Abroad)

Admissions through the management quota are done purely based on merit and individual counselling. Admission formalities start in the month of April every year. Students are advised to visit the Admission Office located on campus in person, along with parents, for queries or can email us at BIT Bangalore.

PG Courses - Master of Technology in CSE(M.Tech)


Admission through PGCET:

  • Post Graduate Common Entrance Test (PGCET) is conducted by the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA), which is a gateway exam to various PG courses offered by the top Private (Aided & Unaided)/Government Institutions in July / August.

  • 80% of the total intake is allotted through PGCET


Admission through MANAGEMENT:

  • Admission formalities start in the month of April/May every year. Students with PGCET / qualified GATE Score are advised to visit the Admission Office located on campus in person, along with parents, for queries, or can email us at BIT Bangalore.

  • 20% of the total intake is filled through the management quota.


Conclusion: 


Students can join BIT Bangalore either through these exams mentioned or through the management quota, as mentioned, to excel in their academic life and career by taking a course that the students are interested in.
